Lots of blame to go around. This isn't just a city hall issue. I'd put a police force unwilling to do their job despite being the highest funded police force in the country per capita and a provincial government that continues to dismantle services related to homelessness and addiction right at the top of the list as well.

I will also add that I've worked downtown for nearly a decade and take the LRT to and from work. I have never had any sort of risky encounter or ever seen the roving gangs that Drivesaitl suggests are taking over the city. That isn't to say there aren't problems. Of course they are. But to some extent they are overblown.
probably 75% of the time to report anything to them, their response is "We cant do anything"

Its like why the f*** are my tax dollars going towards you morons if you're unwilling to do anything about it.

Its not the police fault. It is the cities fault, it is political factions that are soft on crime and that continue to believe the perpetrators are victims and play catch and release with offenders Police are dealing with many of the same offenders every day. how do you think that impacts on job and morale?

Also that the city increasingly has policy whereby factions are allowed to be without fare, vagrant on trains, busses, or impaired at city facilities.

Furthermore several people have directly commented on the violence and disturbance they've seen. Theres also been tons of cases documented of violence at ETS facilities.

Not surprised you don’t think the police have any culpability. I guess they’re too busy murdering people during welfare checks to actually make sure public spaces are safe. Provincial government that has destroyed social supports probably blameless too.

Is anyone else having trouble posting gifs or photos on here?

Basically, the photo will appear in the image preview, but when the post goes up, it'll appear as a broken image.

So 7 incidents while testing and now 6 since the SE LRT line opened up.

Solid 1 per week we are sporting right now, but hey drivers and I guess pedestrians need to pay more attention.

Whoever thought that would happen in this city was truly fooling themselves.

She has superb putting form.
