May have to wait to see where the other goalie pieces fall first. Don’t think he is anyone’s first choice and teams probably want more time to evaluate their own goaltending situation. Just for example, imagine Was or Col trade for Halak, and then one of their goalies go down (in fact Vanacek just got injured). With that injury maybe you want a better upgrade then Halak, like MAF or Varlamov for example. I think most teams will want to want closer to the deadline to acquire a goalie.

I would love to have him back in Montreal but I’m scared he’s going to start winning games for us and ruin our chance for the 1st overall draft pick.

Whoever is getting him will acquire a solid goalie.

Sure, Mrazek can be pretty damn good in spurts. As inconsistent as there is though imo. And definitely not the most durable guy either

And in this instance, doubt the Canucks want a goalie with term (especially if they're on the hook for Halak's bonus)

Unless there’s an asset coming back, or cap relief… just keep him. One of the better backups in the Chell
