As long as no or minimal cap is coming back I’d be content with a late round pick for Halak.
Hell I'd take a big cap hit ending this year if we got a higher pick.

I like it. Mrazek is a lower ability backup goalie and the salary is a lil high and long but if the Leafs retain 30% and add a 1st it could work out. Canucks add Chaisson to further balance out the salaries going across:To Toronto
Halak
To Vancouver
Mrazek

Better goalie signed for longer.
The proposal has come full circle.Halak for Ryder and a 2nd.
It really is, One of the most consistent back ups in the leagueThis dude has been so good for so long its crazy
I don’t think there’s one team in the league that thinks mrazek is better than Halak.Better goalie signed for longer.
He has a full NTC.Does he have any sort of no move or no trade clause?
If he can be moved anywhere, I can see the Devils inquiring. They are so terrible and bleeding goals like crazy with zero NHL level goalies even close to returning from injury. They need someone to at least provide some stability in net instead of getting destroyed every game for the rest of the year.
LOL better goalie, that's debatable.Better goalie signed for longer.
Its weird about all this trade talk, like with Miller. Have the Canucks given up?Canucks are stilll in the race for a playoffs spot, they could still use Halak and should keep him IMO.
Everyone and their dog knows how big of a mistake that wasBased on the same reasoning as to why Mrazek was touted as a clear upgrade over Andersen this summer, maybe?
