I don't see the problem with giving him games. I don't get the whole "let the prospects rot in AHL and don't give them games" attitude. To improve you need to know what you are lacking.

I did lot of competitive gaming over the years and you don't learn anything by dominating the lower brackets otuside of learning how to play the games. But after you learned how to play you could spend 20 years in the lower brackets and you would not improve much. At one point you have to test yourself in the higher brackets and see if you're good enough or not and see what you have to improve and work on. Giving a few games to Mailloux, Kapanen, Heineman, ... will help them see what they have to improve.

If we expect to let all those kids play exclusively in the AHL for the next 2-3 years and then they'll graduate in the NHL and be ready day 1 with 0 NHL experience then we are extremely naive and fooling. There's nothing wrong with giving our prospects a few games every year even if not ready just to test them and let them realize they are not ready. If the only thing you do is dominate the lower leagues then you'll eventually think you are better than you really are. You have to be tested to improve.

He's going to Sweden which is a stronger league.
Which games did you play competitively?

Likely he stayed extra time because of injuries but definitely perplexing since he was three weeks away from being able to go to Laval. Wonder if rhp is close and that's why this timing.

Had to be done yeah
Had a great camp,
But to put him on the team that fast was..
Come on guys.. lol

No problem with Condotta up

I for one am beyond SICK of having bottom 6's filled with failed top6ers, who on top of everything make too much money
Bottom 6 is for f***ing bottom 6 players
And Lucas is that.

Hope Kap shreds SHL tho, got some NHL xp to help hopefully

Doesn’t bother me either way as I didn’t / don’t really see what the hype is about him

People got all excited when his coach from last year came out and said he can be a #2C

Yea he has some decent qualities but I honestly don’t see anything that makes it a given he will be on this team next year.

Call me jaded, but we’ve been through this before where people were saying the same thing about Oloffson, De la Rose, Ylonen, Mysak, etc..can even throw in Kostenko and Rohrer at this point

Aman is the last thing we need

We need physicality, an identity on the 4th line
While true, he isn't opposed to throwing a hit and has some really nice wheels.

I don't think the Habs know what they want.

They have a hodge podge of players and are just going with it so far for the bottom 6

By competitively i'm not talking about pro gamer but just competing at the higher bracket of amateur. Did lot of WoW, Halo, Unreal, CoD, BF, CS. I'm almost 50 now so i suck a lot lol i get my ass kicker by average kids so i play mostly single player games now. BG 3 was dope. Still play wow but just casual. Tried the new Halo and gave up after one game lol

Good decision.

Condotta earned it also. Roy would have been called up, but they want him to marinate in Laval a bit more. Fine by me.

I don’t see any issue with this.
Condotta will play on the 4th or be #13 forward. Roy, to be effective, must play top-9.
