Most people don't seem to know or understand shit about development. The Collberg example was because it came directly from Timmins. Norlinder it's because on this board when we signed him, I said it was a mistake and that he wasn't ready so I added it because he was 100% in the same situation in regards to staying here or waiting till December and then sending him to Laval. I have said over and over all last year everything was on him for looking lazy and disinterested.

Kapanen to me did not look NHL ready, his strength, speed, skating all look like they still need a good bit of work, why then was he in the NHL, was he suddenly going to become a better skater or quicker or stronger? Why did they have to bring him over, mess with his season when he could have been on the top line in the SHL and then we'll see how the year goes. You get 4 years with Euros, why not use that to your advantage?
I'm not all that high on him period I think Owen Beck will be the better player and better suited for a role with this team.
Aside from a couple of decent puck possessions against inferior competition his camp wasn't all that brilliant.
This being his third year Pro the detail work he was touted for had to be where it was.
Another "Beige" player for Martin Lemay. :sarcasm:
