Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Having a Selke caliber center, I think he should be 2C minimum. Tavares should get used to the wing, because O'Reilly's defensive game at center can't be passed up. Having him and Marner is like our own version of Bergeron-Marchand.
It has nothing to do with Nicky scoring goals .. it is da way he tilted ice against us entire series .. it is why Tampa decided to give him his LT contract .. good for Nicky .. great kid and he deserved it .. you guys don't realize it but it was only a summer before where he was standing in my house saying he was done with hockey

When asked on Monday after the Lafferty/McCabe deals, Dubas said that he wasn't done but was mindful of the balance & chemistry of the locker room.
I do think we see another minor move, involving moving a Dman out, but I don't think we see another significant piece coming back in.
Guessing Dubas holds onto the pick, trades down at the draft to acquire more capital, and uses those picks to replace the ones he's spent lately.

They have to go after Kucherov and give it to him hard with both hands, barrels and whatever else, he needs to be banged hard, face washed, cross checked, speared, folded, stapled and mutilated until even his kinfolk in Russia feel it and have trouble getting out of bed. Oh yeah and Perry needs a punch in the mouth, uh OK two punches in the mouth every shift he's on the ice, in fact I'd cup him at the start of every period until he completely loses his mind and gets bounced.

Shots were 47-40 Leafs with him on the ice at even strength in the series.
Goals were 5-5.
Don't think the ice was as tilted as you remember.

Why do people want to trade Kerfoot so bad? He’s loved in the locker room and by the management group. He’s also someone who can play anywhere in the lineup incase and injury occurs.
We’re currently in a position where we can activate Murray off the LTIR and sign Knies and still be cap compliant. Between Holl and Gustafsson, we have 2.8 million to play with which at the deadline is a decent amount. I’d personally be holding onto Kerfoot at this point, don’t want to mess with locker room chemistry that much and we already have lol.
Bc for 3.5mil, a better fit winger can be traded to help the team.

Kerfoot has been money in the playoffs, so I don't see keeping him as bad option. Only if we go after Chychrun I'd anticipate we'd trade him, but I don't know if we can fit more defense.
In overall this has been odd TDL for us.
PHoll, Kerfoot and Gustafsson out for picks/prospects. Then package up picks/prospects (probably better ones than we get for Holl/Kerf/Gus) for one of Bertuzzi, Domi or JvR - all expiring contracts on non-playoff teams, seems like all are being at least somewhat shopped.
Could roll with some insane lineups in this scenario, for example if we dealt for Bertuzzi, then decided to go with a 3-line attack (similar to the Pens B2B cup teams with Crosby/Malkin/Kessel on different lines):
Bunting - Matthews - Marner
Tavares - ROR - Jarnkrok
Bertuzzi - Kampf - Nylander
ZAR - Acciari - Lafferty
(Holmberg, McMann, Steeves, Abruzzese, SDR)

Goals points shots are measures but don't mean much .. it comes down to control/winning of games and warriors always overpower skill guys when it counts in playoffs when da whistle gets thrown away .. it comes down to you against me and only 1 guy is gonna win .. and warriors come out da winners .. from what I saw from my seats at Scotia Nicky won

Word is he might be having the same serious long term hip issues that Corey Schneider had.
Plus his .884 sv% only serves to move the needle far in the wrong direction.

He was crazy good in the beginning of the season. But the the wheels came off. Thank got we had Sammy play so well and bail us out. I would love to see him sign 3-4 years here
