I feel like Sidney Crosby gave McDavid bad advice about Babcock as coach.

Maybe Crosby doing his best to undermine McDavid. First missing the gold medal game, and now this. Jealousy of McDavid?

I feel bad for Oilers fans. The f*** ups made by management are legendary. Unfortunately I think Quinn wanted out of Canada and sadly I think it's something that will happen more frequently in the future. We know a lot of Canadian born players don't want to play in Canada either.

It's Hyman. He played with Babcock for four years and he loves him. When the Jackets almost hired Babcock, Hyman was texting Werenski about how good of a coach Babcock is.

It's easy to be a good leader when you're surrounded by hockey players that have the desire. That said the Oilers were equal IMO to the Panthers 3 years ago, a bit of luck they would have won. The next year, after Bowman f***ed up they won the West but were embarrassed by a more talented and hungrier team. This year they just sucked.

The Oilers with their McClock running out are looking at a coach that hasn't won a playoff round in 13 years and didn't even make it to his first game behind the bench his last job, a coach that needed to be cleared in an investigation by the NHL and NHLPA.

But Sid knows that only the team achievements keep him ahead of McDavid in all-time rankings.

The individual trophies/stats/play all favor McDavid in lopsided manner.

Not top 5- he has bad peak.

And the theory behind the jealousy is that he is ahead of McDavid because of his team achievements like Cups/golds. Based on individual play- McDavid easily ahead of him.

McDavid with team achievements turn the Mt Rushmore into Mt Fivemore and put enormous gap between top 5 all-time and the rest.
