  • Congrats to our latest Sportsbook winners - GOLD MEDAL kihei, SILVER MEDAL fish7 and BRONZE MEDAL Sammy Kat - new tournament begins today 6/15
McDrai is getting their guy. I have to assume Hyman and Kapanen were both fans of him. Wouldn't surprise me if they spoke to Ceci as well.

Still need a goalie or else it really wouldn't matter if we had Scotty Bowman back there

Welp don’t have to worry about Edmonton anymore.

Tough break for Cassidy watching both the Oilers and Leafs hire someone else this week - obviously the Oilers didn't even get the opportunity. I thought he was heading to the payday of a lifetime with both those teams looking for a coach in a slim market.
The leafs passed on Cassidy tho. And ots come to light Vegas has personal issues woth edmonton and that's why Edmonton is off Cassidy obviously the Oilers new they wouldn't have access to Cassidy for atleast the next year

I think Babcock is actually a competent coach, Toronto's game was a ton of fun to watch with Babcock as the coach, and the play style fell off a cliff as soon as he was fired.

But of course, like with Tortorella, there is a decent amount of extra baggage with him.

To make this all about the leafs:

The second last humiliation will be when Mike Babcock led oilers win the cup next year

(The final one would be Dubas joining the Knights and him and Marner winning one together)

Wonderr what Babcock can do for the Oilers. Let's see if he can bring a cup and fix his legacy on the way

"NHL is clearing is Mike Babcock to coach the Edmonton Oilers."

I'm reading that sentence over and over trying to understand it.
