Confirmed with Link: Oilers sign Connor Brown to 1-year incentive laden deal ($775K caphit, potentially $3.25M in bonuses)

Jackson completely owned Holland, by convincing him that being able to push back cap into a year Holland didn't have to care about (because he would be gone) because we had zero cap space (due to Holland's crap cap management) was worth an extra, at least, $2M of cash over what busted knee, barely played for over a year, Brown was worth on the open market.

But Jackson also saved the season by forcing a coach change with his own pick to get us to a point where Connor Brown could actually pull off some heroics.

So I guess the Jackson impact on us kinda cancels out. If he finds a good GM now, all is forgiven.
