Trading for value seems unlikely but I think that calling up Kesselring and the X-man might send a message to the team.
 
All the talk about "Cup contenders" and the brass got fat on their ass in the offseason. Re-signed a couple players, signed an anchor in net and called it a day. And here I thought Holland had a good offseason... How stupid I was. This is 2017-18 all over again.

Dude sure does disappear pretty often. Some good games followed by his best impersonation of Casper the friendly ghost.

Wasn’t he supposed to play tough and heavy

Why do we only play tough and heavy on the road. It should be hard to win in our building. Instead teams must be licking their chops these days

Shouldn't we be placing some blame on the one who put him out there with the empty net? The kid with THREE goals in a season where he sees top line duties. SMH

Broberg was probably one of our best defenders tonight lol. Says more about our defense I know.
 
Kane isn’t the full answer but boy so we miss his swagger. We walk an inch taller when he’s on the ice.

i think half of these clown go hit up Cactus Club or Joeys half of the week lol. See them there. Especially 9.25
 
What's even worse is that almost the entire prospect pool has flatlined or regressed. Last year there was a lot of prospects having good years so at least there was something to hang our hat on when the team was in its usual early winter hibernation but this season, I can't think of any prospects/young players on the Oilers or in the minors/juniors that are having a really good year outside of, I guess, Schaefer and Kesselring I suppose? Bleh

One substantial playoff run (that was almost completely manufactured by two players playing at a pace not seen in decades) and nothing else. If McDavid and Drai wanted out I wouldn't blame them.

so you get names GM and have complete control over everything..how are you fixing this team.

Any trade you come up with--look at the trade from the other teams perspective and ask yourself would they do that trade and why
