I can't believe the Oilers are just as bad as the Flames.... wtf.
Start winning, or Oilers getting another #1 pick.

But when that super talent is introvert stat hunting winger esque kinda player, there is not much to build on.The frustrating part for oiler fans is that they have got one generational talent, which is the hardest thing to get.
Now, they can't execute the easier part of building a competent team around him, eight years into the program.
All the Oil fans that were chirping anyone that didn’t consider them a SC favourite last summer have permanently relocated to their home board.Oilers haters are EATING this year. Cheers boys.

Great team having bad puck luck. They're a great pick to win the cup right now.The funniest part is that their analytics are actually significantly better than... maybe ever?
Corsi%: 3rd all situations, 2nd 5 on 5
Fenwick%: 3rd all situations, 2nd 5 on 5
Shots for%: 9th all situations, 8th 5 on 5
Expected goals for%: 5th all situations, 1st 5 on 5
Scoring chance%: 7th all situations, 3rd 5 on 5
High danger scoring chance%: 3rd all situations, 1st 5 on 5
Unfortunately they're 26th in high danger shooting percentage at 5 on 5 (31st in all situations) and 32nd in high danger save percentage. So they aren't finishing and if they make any mistakes they aren't getting saves.
It’s a dirty job, but someone has to keep doing itTitle updated to latest record
McDavid gets put with Draisaitl the next game every time he goes scoreless. It's almost like his point totals are more important than the team's success.I guess the solution isn't to just keep putting McDavid and Draisaitl back on the same line every single time you lose the previous game.
Here's a novel concept: try getting all four lines going rather than constantly trying to get one line going.
Generational really.Man this is such a great season so far . I'm having a lot of fun . Wont lie.

This really is an incredible season so far.
No they were 7-3 in the first 10 games last yearToo early. Didn’t they get off to a horrendous start last year as well?
I don’t think they’re catching Vegas for the Division but a lot of the Pacific teams are spinning their wheels and still within reach.
The Canucks destroyed their hopes and dreams after that 8-1 shellacking.
