Getting a 2nd NHL defenceman other than Ekholm should still be their main priority.

Skinner and Pickard look too impulsive and far out from the net at times. Like they're panicking or trying to just block the initial shot. Sometimes it's better to passively and alertly read the play than to just react as you get walked or dealt a cross-slot pass. Lundqvist used to do that hang back deeper in the net thing. I was not a goalie, but just my perception since the All-Star break.
