I think M-A Fleury was born with a rabbit's foot up his ass.

He is a completely average goalie his entire career, but was lucky enough to be on Pittsburgh with Sid and Malkin and won 3 Cups there.

Then he loses his job and is sent to Vegas in the expansion draft, most players' careers would putter out here because no expansion teams are ever good. Instead, he actually has one of the few above average seasons of his career and they're good the first year and make the SCF and now year 2 he's back to being mediocre to below average but he again has a very solid team around him to help prop him up and they're serious contenders and probably will be for the next few years.

That is a damn solid roster. If they get Fleury back to how he was last year, they could win the Cup for sure.

Stone is 26 years old, elite, and had a very fair contract in place with the new team.

If Branstrom is that good, it's a lateral move. A lateral move for the best piece on the trade market.

I'd give the Zucc deal a B-

I consider the McQ trade a wash. (And no, I'm not going to debate the insurance policy of McQ compared to a 12 slot difference in the 4th round of the draft).
