I'm curious, I know there is a draft pick value chart somewhere, what is a 4th + 7th worth in term of a late 3rd?

Every draft pick value chart available will show that the difference between where the Rangers' picks are in those rounds and Columbus picks in those rounds mean almost nil in total value. To claim any differently shows ignorance, a likely agenda, and should be ignored.

Per BBR's value chart: on a scale of 0-100. The two combined picks at Rangers draft position would be a whopping 1.1. At Columbus' draft positions it drops all the way down to 1.0.

Much closer to a waiver guy than a 3rd rounder. Will probably take a good hit in exchange for years, which immediately becomes an asset because he has "term". 3/4.5 to be a 7th D who doesn't look out of place and does nothing poorly is the smart move imo.
