Kylington and a 1st would be a really good haul for Hayes.

A hell of a lot better than Logan f***ing Stanley

I think that'd have to be a pretty nice piece going back to the Flames to get a 1st and Kylington.

As a Flames fan, I would prefer Hanifin go out than Kylington.

Kylington is dynamite. Probably the most talented D in our organization in my lifetime. He reminds me of Giordano, except he skates like Karlsson.

I would hold on to him tight and if Tre trades him for Hayes I will probably have a meltdown.

Kylington is averaging 12 mins per game, so it's not like they would miss him as a big piece from the NHL roster (this year). Maybe Hayes + McQuaid works for them?

I think if Calgary extends Hayes you are actually going to be surprised that he is better than most want to give him credit for.

Or Claesson. Flames have Stone whose injured. Two rookies in their top 7. One of those guys is Prout. Vaalimaki is a call-up, but also a rookie. I don't see too many cup runs with two rookies on defense. They might want to add some insulation.

Kylington is 21 with 5 years of pro hockey experience. Made the SHL as a 16-17 year old. Was an early top 15 pick back in 2015 before sliding. 18 Year Old as a AHL rookie.

That's fine, but from all I've seen, Oliver Kylington has 65+ pt seasons in his future as a 30 minute a game D, who can skate stride for stride with anyone in the NHL, even McDavid.

Hayes would have to win a Hart Trophy to make that trade digestable.
 
I’m interested what Simmonds returns

If he brings back more than Zucc than we should all be upset, but I’d be surprised if he does

Kylington, Valimaki and Andersson... How'd you rate them..

You will like Hayes, he drives the play and owns the puck but he can make some 'Hayes' moves. You'll learn soon enough.

Tough to say. I truly believe when all said and done this will shake out as Zucc for the 2nd and 3rd. If either of those conditions are met I’ll be blown away

I’m leaning towards yes though because in that scenario they’d land a 1st with no condition

He’s got talent for sure, but ever since I heard him say something like “there are nights when I can’t wait to get out of the building if things aren’t going our way” I’ve been done with him.

In that case the conditional 1st also attached is probably going to be an over-payment?

Just kidding, I have no idea if he, the pick or whatever is really in play, yet I do think Calgary and Hayes may be a thing.
