I don’t want Stanley at all. How many LHD prospects can we really have?
They have the best offer on the table right now I am told. But I know not what it is other than a young defenseman and a 1st. No details. We are snagging a lot of assets. And it is not over yet. JG is a very smart man I must admit. The future looks very promising if the scouts do due diligenceAndersson?
Or most likely they are both not good. Of course they are young, but such paltry offensive totals are not encouraging.Stanley is a magical first round pick.
Hajek 5 points in 60 games? He's young, HFD is bad.
Stanley 10 points in 60 games? OmG hE sO bAD
Ok but can we get something better than Stanley. He stinks and has no spot in this organization. Hed prob be our 5th best left handed dman prospect
How fast is he compared to CharaFrom the hockeywriters.com site
Stanley’s footspeed, and in particular his ability to turn in a hurry, were concerns through much of his junior career.
Sound familiar? Like I said he’s a lefty mcilrath

I hope Hayes goes to calgary to play with gaudreau. He deserves it. Hope he stays there too
Young defenseman is great. CGY is loaded. Valimaki, Andersson, Kylington... prefer them in that orderThey have the best offer on the table right now I am told. That’s kind of how I feel, Stanley and a first would be a 4.5/10 return for me (10 would be something insanely lopsided in the Rangers favor)
Ok but there are so many other areas in our prospect pool we need addressing. Left-handed dmen are the one area we have a bunch ofHe's 20 and massive.
Yes history says that he probably flames out or hangs around as a 3rd pair/extra but sometimes these guys hit and become top 4 or even top pairing guys.
For a rental player, that isn't a bad gamble if he comes along with a 1st.
I don’t mean to say he’s terrible, I just personally don’t like him all that much. I wouldn’t mind the deal, but I wouldn’t be wading around these boards for 90 minutes telling everyone that hates that deal how wrong they areI’d give it about a 6 or 7.
I think Stanley is better than he’s getting credit for.
Not great, and not without risk and downside, but not without upside either.
I agree that Tolvanen and players of that caliber are highly unrealistic. But theres gotta be prospects in other areas we can get instead for Hayes. We have too many lefthanded dmen prospects as it is so why bring in another one who seems questionableI dunno, I think Stanley and a first is better than the Stastny deal last year.
Would I take someone over Stanley? Sure, br I don’t know if they’re on the table.
The biggest challenge I see right now is that people are blinking back the dreams of Tolvanen and others like him that they allowed to creep into their thoughts yesterday.
We will need reliable partners for Pionk and ADA. It can't be Staal forever.Knowing nothing about Stanley, I’d still say it appears he doesn’t fit the mold of a modern puck lugging defenseman. I think the Rangers prefer a defenseman who can create transition rather than one who is better in his own end. Not saying the guy is bad. Just that he might not be a fit style-wise.
If Hayes goes to Calgary I'd be happy with Andersson, #1 and a conditional #2 in 2020 if he resigns (3rd if he doesn't). Bit of a step down from the Duchane trade.

I will say since the Rangers are apparently into Logan Stanley, maybe they’re trying to create a blue line of gigantic lefties and slightly undersized righties
