Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. The admin team will continue to work on existing issues, templates and upgrade all necessary available addons to minimize impact of this new version. Click Here for Updates

oh whoops im an idiot i didnt think it was that tight
wouldnt expect to get much more then a 4th at best for pyatt but it clears cap, hopefully we can make up for the lost picks in trading gaborik in the offseason.
I think we've hit the magic 50 contract number. Now any more additions, means a subtraction in return.
We can shed salary in so many ways, it's not a problem this year.

This year isn't the problem, but they have to move money out if they have to get the RFA'S and Clowe signed.

Hamrlik isn't under contract for next year. If we hope to re-sign Clowe, we will need to clear space under next year's cap.

honestly think sather was inclined to trade more picks with the thought in his mind that he can make up for the lost picks by trading gaborik.
Yeah. Whoever said this before hit the nail on the head: Gaborik's our "rental" for this season. He's as good as gone come the draft/July 1st.
Our lack of centers is just the start of it.
Every, and I mean every, Cup-caliber team has depth down the middle. Boyler centering the 3rd line is rough as it is, although he is always rock solid in the big games. No Boyle? I'd be shocked if we win one game this spring. Miller or Powe centering the 3rd line in the playoffs would be an unmitigated disaster. We need him.
Funny how everyone clamoring for Boyle to be shipped out has no answer for this, either.
Not really. He's our rental next spring, when he's (hopefully) bought out that summer.
I'm going to give him one more year. Mangement is absolutely going to give him that.

They could theoretically trade for a center though. Boyle, prospect, pick for an upgrade at 3C.
Gaborik ain't getting traded, he's part of the solution, not part of the problem.
