You know who does seem to be affected by playing for a bad team?
Connor Bedard

Oh, so we're not talking about other team's players here? Amen to that.who?

Got smoked by Sakic twice I think that disqualifies himWhat a joke. Hughes is the best trader in NHL history. Even Pollock had an easier time of it.
Oh, so we're not talking about other team's players here? Amen to that.
So the Kool Aid tastes great?Has any other GM made as many trades unloading garbage and actually getting assets for it.
I don’t think you watch other teams and other young players either. It’s easy to see with the whining you do.I mean, that's already the case kinda, half this board doesn't seem to watch other teams considering they now shifted the argument for Slaf's putrid play to "big guys don't develop full muscles until they're 25"

Nice come back. The arguments are nice. I’m sure you can name us many young players drafted high that are developing faster in the NHL than Slaf in the last 3 draft.hey block me please, i'd rather if you didn't quote me ever, thanks

No way to know yet.Got smoked by Sakic twice I think that disqualifies him
So you agree it's a little too soon to call him the best trader in NHL history? No way to know yet.
Nah... most grounded takes on Slaf are pretty consistent. Only real differences of opinion are on how high his ceiling will end up being.
The flip flopping is from the hot take crowd that love or hate a player based on their most recent stretch of games.
more accurate to say the some of the loudest complainers post things that reflect a poor grasp of hockey and/or athlete development. But that's par for the course as well.
There is NO pattern of screw ups with this management team. Most of their acquisitions are too young to know their upside yet.is it tho? the forever patience crowd can never be wrong if they don't have any opinions, just preach patience and by the time the player hits 26 just blame the coach/development squad
that pattern of f*** ups is the Canadiens identity at this point, I think it's normal to voice strong concerns earlier in the process
Lol you have no patience , do you miss Therrien Paciorrety Danault and DD on your Wednesday nights in november. Or even a little plecanecs wow great amazing times we had *in the mix* how I long for those teams againis it tho? the forever patience crowd can never be wrong if they don't have any opinions, just preach patience and by the time the player hits 26 just blame the coach/development squad

You've correctly identified a long-standing pattern among Habs fans across the internet, not just here.is it tho? the forever patience crowd can never be wrong if they don't have any opinions, just preach patience and by the time the player hits 26 just blame the coach/development squad
This is the first time we are actually rebuilding from top to bottom with high draft picks at different positions , how is this even close to our past failuresYou've correctly identified a long-standing pattern among Habs fans across the internet, not just here.
Washington is going crazy this year tooNice that we have two teams to cheer on: cheer against the Habs and for the Flames.
Unbelievable the Flames record when their top 2 leading scorers are dmen, and they only have 3 forwards on pace for 40 or more points: Kadri, Coronato and Huberdeau.
Useless hyperbole and exaggeration doesn't add anything to the discussion.is it tho? the forever patience crowd can never be wrong if they don't have any opinions, just preach patience and by the time the player hits 26 just blame the coach/development squad
Nah... it's normal to have a different opinion about whether to rebuild or not.that pattern of f*** ups is the Canadiens identity at this point, I think it's normal to voice strong concerns earlier in the process
It's obviously not. This is the first time we are actually rebuilding from top to bottom with high draft picks at different positions , how is this even close to our past failures
I'd say the "forever patience" crowd has been wrong for the past 30 years.is it tho? the forever patience crowd can never be wrong if they don't have any opinions, just preach patience and by the time the player hits 26 just blame the coach/development squad

Some of us wanted a rebuild 10 years ago while everybody else had the pom poms out for a garbage roster making the loffs of the back of the best goalie in the league.I'd say the "forever patience" crowd has been wrong for the past 30 years.
