lmao are you kidding me? Stutzle is the one guy that actually looks like he cares. He's hustling more than I can remember. Tkachuk is the one that needs to go - his foot speed is too slow to be an nhl 1st liner and most the time he isn't moving his feet at all.
Fine then. Trade away Brady T. Imo that would be a huge mistake. He’s like his brother. He’s a winner stuck with some selfish players.

Too easy, in their top minute guys (other than BT) to play against. IMO Stutzle needs to go for the Sens to move ahead. And I also think he’d get a great return. He’s got flash and dash. The Sens could focus on returning experienced guys who are hard on and off pucks. I think it would be better for them. Right now, with just standing pat, they will fall away with the Wings. And imo the Sens are better than that. Live BT. He is a winner.
Yeah because trading young franchise caliber #1 centers is always a good idea and never bites the team in the ass. Trading a #1 center who's young for what? then you have to begin the search all over again to find a new one, this is a stupid ass idea

Tkachuk isn't it. The team needs a comeback and he was too busy taking runs at people and trying to jump guys with cancer to be of any help.

Maybe the team wins last night if their captain didn't get tossed for being a moron.

Stutzle is not a franchise level 1C. He’s a very good player but not the level you suggest.
And the name is “fat ass”.

Uhm I disagree he put up 90 two years ago and looks very good this year, I believe he will be very much a top 10 center by the end of the year, I can see him hitting 100 this year.

Sens are a cautionary tale of paying your guys too soon. Sanderson, Chabot, Norris, and Ullmark all way overpaid.

Im not sure Ullmark is paying a guy too soon as he is 31, but he's definitely struggling to live up to his contract.

I was more surprised with people who thought he was a slam dunk to carry the load successfully. Regardless, maybe it's just an adjustment period and he will find his way eventually.

90 points but a dash 15 isn’t winning. At some point the top minute (and highest paid) players on Ottawa need to commit to playing the defensive side of the puck and not just go all out for scoring chances. They need a change in their core. And imo it’s Stutzle who would return the types of players needed to change the way the whole club plays. BT is the guy to build around.

Uhm BT is highly over rated on these boards and you dont trade young #1 centers with 100 point potential making 8 mill a year how would that improve the club? who takes his spot? Norris? Pinto? you're just creating more holes by trading Stutzle its an aweful idea.

Sens relying on Stutzle to be their #1 C would be like the Leafs trying to build a team around Nylander at center w/o Matthews/Marner/Tavares.

Better for Brady to not be a captain, he's more of an agitator/spark plug; as a leader, they need a more mature role model rather than be a very vocal guy

Everyone but Stutzle and Sanderson should be on the table for trading. I doubt Brady is going to re-sign once his current deal is up. May as well trade him before trade restriction kick in.

As I suspected, Travis Green was the worst hire for that group. They needed structure and leadership with a calming influence. That is not Green.
I think he might actually be the worst head coach in the National Hockey League.

Canucks fans KNOW it, Devils fans got to KNOW it in his very brief stay as interim head coach. I was like ''Is Ottawa f***in serious? Hiring TRAVIS GREEN? WAT!? ARE THEY SERIOUS? WHAT THE f*** ARE THEY DOING UP THERE? DO THEY STILL WANNA BE A JOKE?''

And it wasn't even like he was part of the leftover scrap heap. They didn't even try to hire Keefe or anybody bigger, because I'm pretty sure they hired Green even before Toronto fired Keefe.

That's just not a good first impression by this new regime, both the front office and new owner. I already wondered if they had their marbles when they didn't fire Dorion as they walked through the door. They waited until their organization got NAILED by the league for something Dorion did almost 2 years earlier.
