I'm sure they're will be free agents added to the mix and some of the American kids are unknowns.

If Malatesta reports he will be a top 4 guy.

Interested to see if White stays up at forward.

I think he would be too , but it's hard to say. Being 18 next year will definitely help on a young blueline.

I'd be shocked if White is even a Wildcat this year. He's overwhelmed at this level. Skating is bad , feet a slow , reaction and decision making same thing. Got to give him a bit of credit for trying to stay in the lineup by fighting but that's definitely not a forte. I don't see where he'd fit. Great kid but not major junior calibre.

When you gamble on American kids you can't win them all.

Wildcats will take on the Armada in the opening playoff round.

Good seasons for a rebuilding squad full of rookies but I think it'll be a quick series.

Blainville in 5 is my prediction. The 2-3-2 format might make it a 6 game series.

I think they may have a chance since Barbashev and Garland are both supposedly back. I'm not banking on that by any means but if Dubeau can steal some games it might be close.

Interesting note in regards to injuries... Roger Shannon mentioned that Moncton have not played a single game with a full lineup this season.

Moncton force a game #6 after a 3-2 win.

Dubeau was very solid in net and Barbashev score a couple of nice goals.

I suspect Tesink will get a lengthy suspension for his hit on Holwell. Then again , you never know with the inconsistency of the league.

Tesink and Martel are probably out for Game 6. Wildcats definitely have a chance to force Game 7.

Pretty quiet compared the rest of the league.

Only transaction is Reid Halabi to Chicoutimi for a 6th and 12th.

Great value for a free agent who likely wouldn't have even made the team. Easily replaceable and we had a surplus of forwards anyhow.

Former Cats' goaltender Roman Will has signed with the Colorado Avalanche. He was stellar here in Moncton , and that was during a rebuild. I was shocked when he didn't get drafted. I'd say he has some real potential. Very interested to see how he does this upcoming season. Great free addition for Colorado.Good luck Roman!
