When Taz found a stick in the yard....and brought it in the house

View attachment 335743This is Friskie. I rescued her 17 years ago. She is an affectation hound. Always need to be close to me, especially during Bruin games.

This is Peanut. Her mother lived in my backyard. When she had a litter of four, she abandoned the tiny, all white kitten on my patio. I tried to put the kitten back but Mama just moved the others and left the white baby. I bottle fed Peanut for 12 days before she even opened her eyes. I kept a heated fleece pad on my desk at work and took care of her until she was old enough to stay home. She is now 11 years old.
If I am working the Pearly Gates and I see you - you are getting a gold halo and front row seats to the Bruins 82-0 and 16-0 run to Cup thru Toronto, Montreal, Chicago, and St Louis

As a life long dog owner if someone asked me what’s the most underrated thing on the planet - it would be cats

Amazing, interesting, and loving

We adopted Gatsby 3 months ago from a Humane Society in central Virginia (they named him). He's about 3 and was abandoned, despite appearing to be well groomed. He's probably a mix of Australian Shepherd and Mini Aussie @ 35 pounds. We had 6 Shelties (never more than 2 at one time), the last 4 coming from rescues. We couldn't find another one, so we took Gatsby, and he's done great so far.

He is really cute!

I love shelties too. We had a collie growing up and they just look like mini collies lol

We recently added a Golden Retriever to the family, named her Sammie.
Has been a great puppy so far in 2 weeks, she is almost house trained, is walking to the patio doors when she needs to go outside.
Goldens are defineately a smart breed.

Nice dog and very cool name.
I love Goldens! Friends of mine had one a few years ago and I used to dog sit for them. I always threatened to dog-nap her
