Not a good first night. In spite of my putting him down in the litter box 3 times he ended up peeing on the mattress- I rolled over onto a cold wet spot around 4:30 this morning. Mother is not happy.

I love Berners. If I was going to get a big dog, that's probably what I would get. When we got our Bernese Mountain Dog, she was small enough to come home in a cat carrier. We didn't tell the kids. My wife is a vet and they are used to her bringing home cats overnight to watch.
So we brought the puppy (Piper) home and set her on the island in the carrier facing away from the kids. I asked my daughter Shelby to "take that cat out of the carrier". She was like OMG another cat to babysit.....When she saw it was a puppy she screamed "is it ours", and started bawling tears of joy.
Little Piper is now 105 pounds
Aw. Very sweet
My kitty is a Luna too ! Here she is helping with a jigsaw puzzel.
Congratulations on the new fur baby!

Jack's a Carpenter?
I am with you, Jack.
I see a floofy cloud. No dog.Pic of my dog JJ. He's been with me for 6 months so far and he's a lot better than when I first got him with my folks. He's filled out and looks less gaunt. He's a lot more confident and comfortable around us as well as other dogs. He's also acting more husky like. He hates the humidity though and keeps trying to find places around the yard where he can dig and create little foxholes to lie down in and stay cool. Regardless, he's been a big positive to have in my life and couldn't imagine not having him now.

I miss the dog but he's living the best life with his cousin. They have a great yard to run around and sun bathe plus they have 2 kiddie pools to cool off in.
I woke up to this in my face in the morning while I was there.
She looks just like one especially if she sits on the couch.Looks like a little teddy bear

Don’t let the cuteness fool you, she has some serious sass.
Thankfully no.She a barker?
Thankfully no.
She loves to sigh deeply and tilt her head when you tell her to move or if it is raining, she will sigh and give this are you serious look when you take her out. It is pretty funny.
She's a pretty chill dog overall.
