We got a Puppy 3 weeks ago, Hubert. (My Daughter's Dog actually). He is a St. Bernard/Leoberger mix and will grow to well over 100 lbs. Hubert is going to be a perfect camping/hiking buddy. Nice to have a Bear on our side. We got the name from the Hound Dog in the movie 'Best in Show'. We now have a 2 year old Orange Tabby and this guy to replace our recent losses of two 17 year old pets that passed in the last 6 months. What a difference from 2 senior pets to full energy little ones.

Nice pup, great breed.
He could be 150 lbs.
I have two Newfies and a Bernese Mountain dog, love all pets, particularly the extra large breeds.

Awwww, I love Hubert!! He is adorable. :)
Thanks, he is a handful. I am picking him up every once in awhile as we will not be able to once he grows in a few months. I am alone with him for the weekend. My Daughter is a Wedding Photographer and is doing a shoot about 6 plus hours away. My Wife is going to her Brothers cottage with his wife and her sisters, (Girls weekend away). My Son is at College and cannot make it back this weekend. It's me, the cat that teases the Dog by trotting away instead of running fast and Hubbie Dobbie Do. This could be a movie, lol.

Thanks, My Daughter really wanted a Bernese, they are so adorable. I just seen your photo, man what a great looking Dog. This one just came up for adoption, so we went and looked. We all know you look but you are going to make an offer. His paws are so big, hopefully he stays under 150. He gained weight quickly and put on a belly. Looks like a little teddy bear or Ewok running around. The breed does have a mix of St. Bernard/Great Pyrenees/Newfie. I can see the Newfie in his hair and I am sure he will love the water, he does not mind laying in the rain soaking yard. Going be interesting in the Canoe to get him to stay sitting.

Lost my little girl, a Border Terrier after 13 years. She died in my arms while waiting for the vet. It's been 3 weeks and it still feels like yesterday.

Oh no, I'm sorry :(

At least you were with her when she passed, although I'm sure that was hard

Dogs need to live a lot longer :(
She was in good health... or so I thought so did the vet. But suddenly she had a series of heart attacks and didn't survive the last one.

Aw. I am so very sorry for your loss . For everyone in this thread pets are family and it hurts to lose them . I still miss my Frodo (Maine Coon) and he has been gone since June 2020

Sorry for your lose, it is a horrible thing to go through, stay strong and remember all the good memories.

We just put down our senior Dog last month and our senior Cat in Spring. They both had serious health issues. I know what you are going through, I think most in here do and we all feel for you.

I got to pet a friend's Golden retriever today. I just love Goldens. Especially when they lean into you, even when it feels like they're about to break your knees. She's two years old, still has that puppy energy.

I ended up with dog hair all over my pants but it was worth it. :)
