Luna and Pippin came out to see their human sister when she came home for Christmas

My dog JJ has grown a tight bond with my dad (slightly in frame of this picture with the laptop). He likes following my dad around and lying behind his chair. He's also getting more socially comfortable around the house and always barks for attention to get petted sometimes if no one is currently petting him. It's kind of funny because you don't know when it is going to happen.

(From Monday)Biggie whined for 2 hours demanding to go out. Since I hadn't snowblown yet, I knew he couldn't leave the circumference of the house (we got 14") and would soon demand to be let back in. I didn't account for the front porch railing.

Folks, this is Tuukka, our nearly 11 week old golden/yellow Labrador. We collected her last week just a day or two after Rask formally retired, so the name has felt especially fitting. She's settling in to her new home really well.

Yeah they are very adorable. Green eyes like her mom, who's a chocolate lab. Rare to see them in a yellow one though.

Had to put 'ol Lucy down yesterday. She had a good 15yr run, but it was time.

Classic hound.....loveable, a little on the dumb side, barked like a freight train, incredibly graceful in motion. Gonna miss her, but there's plenty of squirrels to catch where she's at now...
