It’s like he doesn’t look back from between the 2015 off season to the start of last season to see what his meddling and directives have accomplished which is nothing for the franchise.I THINk our owner spends on the team, but he’s got to learn to let the managent do what they think is (should be) best, including properly rebuilding.
Like in the past 7 seasons the combined salary cap ceiling was say around $540 mill or whatever. Canucks have spent like within $10 mill of that ceiling it feels like. And they’ve done what with that money/cap commitment?
So they’ve poorly spent the money. Spending money doesn’t automatically equal success. It’s who and how you spend it. Sometimes best to not spend simply cause the group that you have just doesn’t warrant spending the money. And not getting short term deals. Signing al of those bad long term deals.
