My dream is for the Canucks to win a Stanley Cup sometime under this management group, and the return of that “History Will Be Made” commercial series in time to give our mystery hero his moment. Cup presentation—>backwards, backwards, backwards—>jersey floating from the ice up into hand…”What if enough wasn’t enough?” or something much better.

I like, "What if the heavy lifting wasn't already done?"

I remember watching those ads as a kid and loving them. They really should bring back them back during the playoffs.

Only thing that's going to get Aquilinis in-trouble would be something sexual, racist, or massive tax evasion. They've already committed manslaughter, multiple times.

I still remember one of the best days as a Canuck fan the last 8-10 years, was when Jim Benning was finally fired.

A very close second was that fleeting few hours when it legitimately looked like Francesco was going to be shuffled away from the Canucks and another brother would take over. It's really the best we can hope for because the family isn't selling the team anytime soon.

We just need Luigi to slap Francesco on the hand, point a finger in his face, and say NO!

Now that's three coaches that Blueberry Boy has personally meddled with.

1. Wanted to fire Vigneault, Gillis held his ground.
2. Hired Torts over Gillis' objections, that worked out well!
3. Hired Boudreau on his own, now fighting with his own President about it.

I THINk our owner spends on the team, but he’s got to learn to let the managent do what they think is (should be) best, including properly rebuilding.
