Lol good thing it’s not Canucks fans doing the vote thenIt's basically Kubalik versus Hughes. Kubalik has more goals, whereas, Hughes has more assists.

If Suzuki continues at his current pace for the remainder of the season, he's going to have to get serious consideration. He's playing in all situations and doing very well.
yea no way Suzuki wins the Calder,i can see him be a finalist but hes behind Hughes and Makar imo but calder doesnt matter for me im just really happy to have him on the team, only positive thing in Habs land nowadaysI keep seeing posts that are saying this but the truth is Nick Suzuki’s season is not even close to what Makar or Hughes are doing and he will not win the Calder.

We all know the hardest day of the week to do anything is Monday because I said it is. Looking at their respective team's schedules, Makar has had the harder go of it AINEC.We have devolved into primary assists and secondary assists now?
Whats next days of the week?
Kotkaniemi is a year younger and a lot less NHL ready. It worked early on, but he was not ready to take on more responsibilities and his mistakes started to irritate the coaching staff. Suzuki went from playing with teenagers, to playing with men and it didn't really show. Still, Suzuki wasn't rushed the way KK was. Suzuki wasn't ready the year before and got sent down. KK played with men in Finland before joining in last season. Such different paths to the NHL...Agreed, I feel the same way about Hughes.
I’m curious, do Habs fans now value Suzuki more than Kotkaniemi? Last year Kotkaniemi was hyped a lot and for good reason but now Suzuki has really taken the spotlight with JK having injury struggles.

Olofsson, Olofsson, he’s our man, if he can’t do it we are even more f*cked.

So before all-star break doesn’t count anymore?D-man Scoring since All- Star Break (not just rookies)
1. Q Hughes -13 pts
2. John Carlsson -10 pts
3. Kris Letang -10 pts
So before all-star break doesn’t count anymore?

Not snarky. I just like to look at the whole picture when evaluating a players performance and production. Players go through highs and lows during a season. Why you so bitter bro?
Post all break stats have been referenced to for years. Shows who, or which teams, heat up when the intensity of trying to qualify for the playoffs picks up. Stats dont mean much in the big picture, but just because you dont like what you see with your boy not being in the picture, doesnt mean you need to get snarky.

That's very impressive, crosbyesque the way he protects the puck. Hughes has similar types offensive possession plays, but he certainly doesnt protect the puck that way he relies much more on his edge work and elusiveness to create space.
That's not something I think Hughes would ever have in his game no doubt makar is a very powerful skater.
He's got 3 points in his last 2 games and 8 points in his last 10 games? Not sure exactly how that's running out of stream. It would be nice if there were a Sophomore or Junior awards.
As a Hughes fan, he may be stepping up his game for the playoff push where Makar might be running out of steam (injuries?), but I think whether or not the Canucks will make the playoffs is going to factor. And that will depend, too, on how he and the team handle the abuse he's starting to get. He's certainly getting the icetime and its been deserved.
