I just finished Zelda tears of the kingdom, it took me 2 months, games don't take me 2 months but there is SO MUCH to do, almost to much, If you told me there was to much to do, I wouldn't necessarily agree, but I'd understand, there is A LOT to do.

That being said it's a fantastic game my ONLY real complaint is the breakable weapons.

Beyond that it is incredible.
Just got it yesterday as part of my other half’s gift to me for my 40th and excited to dig into it this weekend once the work week is over.
On a side note we just got out of seeing Oppenheimer in the true 70mm format (only 6 cinemas in all of Canada with a reel of it, and 25 in NA 30 worldwide)
If anyone out there is a movie buff I strongly suggest making your way to one of the available imax theatres showing the traditional reel.

@LeafSteel did you see the Joe Burrow injury?! Have to believe that’s a torn achillies. I’m pissed!
Great player and was in line for a huge contract. Like him as a player, wish he was a Steeler

Hakka Garden at Overlea Blvd and Thorncliffe.
Lol…did some work there for Coke pre-Y2K. Is the plant still there?

There is A LOT to do that game is time sink.

You can and will spend hours running around the map discovering stuff.

I play a bit of drums - mostly older country and rock. Not as much as before covid, and mainly now with my father-in-law, who's still got one hell of a set of vocal chords.

I used to play regularly at a great open mic on St Clair.

Just before covid hit I was asked if I could occasionally sit in with the Silver River Band, just in time for everything to shut down.
Drummers are the hardest to find! Luckily one of my buddy's is one and keeps wanting to play, use him for everything hahaha.
Sucks about the SRB thing, would have been awesome. Hit em up again!

One of my favorite pastimes when I was younger was sitting in a bar watching a band from the bar with a smoke in one hand and a scotch in another.
Now there are less bands, you can't smoke, I quit smoking and I get too sleepy to stay up if there isn't a hockey game on the tube...er no tubes any more...cant even say that.

Oh damn. My memories as a kid...lol

It is now a Costco. I work for a telecom and did extensive work getting fiber into that building.

The Bowlerama across the street also shut down about 4-5 years ago and is now a Fit4Less.

We use to bowl there quite often, after breakfast and before lunch.
We didn't work very hard there

We’re in BC so we went to Langley which is the west coast equivalent to the square one imax. Used to live just down the road from that theatre.
Definitely worth the wait and the scheduling. You won’t be disappointed.
The only locations in Canada are sauna, Vaughn colossus, west Edmonton, chinook Calgary, somewhere in Regina and here in Langley. When we were waiting for the show to start the theatre manager came in and mentioned how exclusive these reels are and how the next closest locations were Calgary and then Sacramento.
There were folks from the states and Australia in attendance last night.

Plugging it in right after the jays angels. West coast so it’ll only be 7ish not 10 so I should get a nice start on it

We went down to the coast and on the way back we bought a bag of fresh raw peanuts in Dothan. Yesterday, we roasted some, boiled and canned the rest.

Last Friday night I was at Amsterdam Barrel House in Leaside. I'm not even a spinach and artichoke guy but their dip is amazing there.

This Friday night we are hitting up Olde Yorke Fish and Chips (beers after that at Local Eatery) just across the street. I love their halibut and chips.

Amazing place.

That Coke office was a client of mine in the early 90s.

I remember coming off the elevator with one f my sales guys onto a mostly empty floor with no obvious place to go or reception, and asking him if we should shout “The Pepsi party people are here!”

😁

Perhaps I’m finally getting old but does it piss anyone else off when someone starts cutting the grass at 8:30 on a Sunday morning?

I recall a reception desk on the main floor.

I love, love, love fresh peanuts.

The problem is that once I start eating them I...can't really stop?

It was coming off an elevator, we were dealing with their IT guys, so I assume someone sent us up to meet them. It was a long time ago. ;-)

830 is too early to cut grass on the weekends

And cat videos.

Hmmm - I wonder if there's a market for cat porn videos?
Rule <insert number here> taught us that no matter how hideous and grotesque an idea you conjure up, there is probably some sick f*** somewhere on Earth or Florida that has made porn of it.

People are weird. People on the internet with the illusion of anonymity are worse.
