No he is careful and does not make sudden movements. Hell, I wouldn't even want to trade Quinn or Peterka, even for Tkachuk. If it's the right deal, he'll make it.

Our learning on the job gm is scared to sign a goalie, you think he's ready to make a blockbuster ?
Necessary measure. I just don't see how Adams trades:Eichel trade wasn’t a blockbuster?
Necessary measure. I just don't see how Adams trades:
Quinn/Peterka + two 1st + Portillo + Rosen for Tkachuk, he likes to receive more than give.
That's basically four firsts plus a third. For an RFA who can go to UFA soon.
NoObviously Adams would need to talk to the agents to make sure he'd be OK beating on Brady regularly.
Too much.By the way........if the rumors are true that Matthew Tkachuk might be gettable.......I'd love to see Adams take a real, real hard run at him.
2 of our 1sts this year (preferably 9 and 28......but if it's 9 and 16, so be it)
One of Quinn or Peterka or Krebs
Portillo
Rosen
That's gotta be close.
Extension would probably be between $10 million and $11 million per year.I don’t know what the cost is for a 24 year old 100 point 40 goal player in either assets or extension…but I feel confident in saying Adams won’t pay either.
Why?
He’s not that….I look at last year as a career year. He’s more of slightly under a ppg pace. Like mid 70s in points.I don’t know what the cost is for a 24 year old 100 point 40 goal player in either assets or extension…but I feel confident in saying Adams won’t pay either.
I think peterka, krebs, Quinn are about as untouchable as it gets for KA—right or wrong!

For Tkachuk, they shouldn't be. But I completely understand that KA might view them as such.
I don't think I'd be willing to include Quinn. But one of the other two, sure, yeah. For Tkachuk, they shouldn't be. But I completely understand that KA might view them as such.
I mean we're hoping quinn has the production Tkachuk has. It's a tradeoff of short term cap space for potential. I He had a great year, but don't think he can be off the table for a player that just dropped 104 points as a 24 year oldI think Quinn should be off the table, his potential is ridiculous. But agreed on krebs and peterka—though losing krebs makes us pretty think up the middle
It's not a one-on-one trade, there's too much to give up and Adams won't go for it, I wouldn't go either.I mean we're hoping quinn has the production Tkachuk has. Forget about it - we’re Not trading all of that for tkachuk now or ever. It doesn’t fit with our timeline and it doesn’t fit with how the team is being built longitudinally. It’s basically trading all of our young guys for one dude again - and Newsflash he’s not resigning in BuffaloFor Tkachuk, they shouldn't be.
