Yates makes sense because both Wong and Yates are 2 of 5 active MLBers from Hawaii.

This is exactly the way to do it. Don't overpay the guys that go early. Don't panic. Let the market come back to you.

While this could be the case, the Jays have shown interest in Wong this off season and he would definitely help solidify our infield.
