Decided to stick to starters only. I'm sure there are some inaccuracies which people are sure to point out, but I did go back and look at player history to put this list together. Anyways, enjoy.

Bold predictions anybody?

1. EE will steal more bases than Lawrie.
2. Morrow will throw the most innings for the team.
3. Arencibia gets an OBP above .300.

Boneface will have a great spring and Izturis becomes the backup infielder
Lind will hit 6 homers in april then pull out his back
Gibbons will get ejected 15 times

Edwin hits more HRs than Bautista.
One of our pitchers wins the Cy Young.
Melky hits .320 with more than 20 HRs.

I actually agree with pretty much every prediction here

As for my bold predictions.. Hmm...

JJ will end up with more wins and a better ERA than Dickey ;)

Ummm....

JPA hits for at least a .260 average

Errrrhhmmm...

Lawrie hits 25 home runs

Annnnnnd....

Romero pitches 200 innings

- Jose Bautista hits less than 30 HR
- Brandon Morrow makes 30+ starts and becomes a legit 1A starter
- Josh Johnson gets re-signed in July to a not ridiculous deal
- The Jays have a better team ERA than they did in 2008

Also my record prediction: an exceptionally unlucky 90-72 with a +125 run differential (see: Tampa Bay last year)

Actual statistical analysis not projections.

Starting 9's

Toronto: 155HR, 527RBI, 119SB
Yankees: 148HR, 491RBI, 63SB
Sox: 142HR, 449RBI, 82SB
BAltimore: 147HR, 453RBI, 26SB
TB: 96HR, 397RBI, 84SB

Starting 4
TB: 3,12 ERA
TOR: 3.31 ERA
BAL: 3.53 ERA
YANKS: 3.54 ERA
BOS: 4.35 ERA

Notes: What a ****ing mess Bal bullpen is. The Bullpen pitched more innings than the starters. Losing A-Rod hurts for the Yanks, Youk has similar HR, RBI compared to ARod but Youk would have been the DH. BOS needs better ERA or they will be a sub 75 win team. It's going to be a statistical knife fight with the Yanks. Yes, TB's ERA is awesome but the offense is putrid. If Myers can speed up development he might get TB to respectable. TB has a full 94 RBI less than the Yanks and 130 with Toronto. TB will score .58 runs less than the Yanks and .8 less runs than Toronto, BUT TB's pitching edge only gives them .41 ERA edge over the Yanks and .19 ERA edge over Tor. I thought it would be a three way fight but TB needs more offense

Dickey wins more than 20 games.

Romero is the only BJ starter with a less than .500 record. He's replaced by Happ three quarters of the way through the season.

Bautista will lead the league in HRs again.

Encarnacion has a bit of a down year and hits less than 30 HR with less than 100 RBI.

His slack is picked up by Cabrera, who hits close to .300 and has more than 30 HR.

What are peoples thoughts on trading for 1B Justin Smoak from Seattle?

He is a pretty bad baseball player that is escaping by carrying the "young and still has potential" card.

He also is not an upgrade on Adam Lind, who at the very least, had a break-out season and can hit right-handed pitching at a respectable level. I don't think there is any concerns about Lind hitting in the 7th spot; people are more pissed that he hits in the 5th spot or worse, clean-up like last year (in the case of injury). So in essence, it comes down to a player who could regain his form versus a player who never had his form.

If you want a better option, then perhaps Garrett Jones makes more sense.

However, this is funny:

The Pirates made an attempt to land pitching prospect Taijuan Walker in a deal for Garrett Jones, but were rebuffed by the Mariners, according to Rob Biertempfel of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

You expect a guy who has never hit 20 Hr to hit over 30?

There is bold and there is impossible. Melky has never shown anywhere near that kind of power. Its about as likely as JPA stealing 30 bases.

How about in 2009 saying Bautista would hit 50+ homers in 2010, after never hitting more than 16 in any year prior?

Aren't we going for extreme low probability calls here? Hence a bold prediction?

Fair enough, here are mine then.

The Jays will win 120 games. (And get swept in the first round of the playoffs.)
Dickey will throw 3 no hitters. (Losing all 3 of them.)
JPA will have a .450 OBP. (And we will still all be arguing about him.)
Adam Lind will steal 50+ bases. (And still wont be able to hit left handed pitching.)
Maicer Izturis joins the 60 HR club. (And people will still want to start Boni at 2B in his place.)

My bold prediction:

Romero has a terrible start and loses all confidence in his pitching and gets Dickey to teach him the knuckle and immediately becomes unhittable and wins the CY Young.

Bold 2013 prediction:

Yunel Escobar becomes the nation's greatest gay rights champion and leads a march on Washington, where he will deliver a stirring speech about the gay people who cut his hair and decorate his house.
