Kiner-Falefa just got moved from Texas to Minnesota too. Rough couple days for the guy lol.

Now the Garver trade makes a ton of sense for Minnesota. They had their eyes on another catcher.

If they're trying to dump Gary that leads credence to them making this move just to get out of Donaldson's contract.

Not a bad move in that regard...though it is Boob claiming it so grain of salt lol.

Guaranteed two year deal for a 41 year old? I like Cruz but idk about that one.

At some point father time just wins...unless if you're Tom Brady for whatever reason.

A third year player option?

I refuse to believe that. He would be 44 lmao.

If it was a one year deal it would totally be a "big man hits dingers and them big man gets moved at deadline" ala what they did with Schwarber last year. Not so sure they're gonna do that with a 2 year deal.

I expect tomorrow we will be seeing something big. Possible two somethings.

we’ll see

Minnesota planning to use Gary as a DH and backup catcher per Boob.

So expect Gary to start at least 120 games behind the plate.

He also claims the Yankees have are sticking to their plan of prospects and won't be signing Correa or Story...so expect both of those guys to be Yankees by morning.

Ya, there's no need for teams to have a very low salary for numerous years.

It doesn't bother me because the Jays will spend when needed but I don't think it helps the game having a few teams never spending.

It sucks seein teams shedding star talent over and over because they don’t want to pay them. Even worse low spending clubs complain about big spending teams while they scrape the salary barrel and are unwilling to do anything about it.

I don’t mind more teams having a chance and being competit I’ve. Just don’t think the league (applies to the NHL in particular) should lean towards the low salary teams. This is the big leagues. Spend, or shut up.
