I wonder who's going to end up getting Carlos Correa now.

Texas took both Semien and Seager, Detroit went with Baez and now it looks like Seattle is zeroing in on Story.

Yankees and Dodgers have beef with Correa so that's unlikely. The Angels seem likely but man they're going to have 4 guys on ultra-max contracts in a couple years when Sho-time is going to make bank.

How has AA not locked up Freeman at this point. Among all the top tier FA's Freeman going back to Atlanta seemed like a no-brainer more than anything

Wow, Bosox get ripped. Renfroe is a good player with 2 more years of cheap control (and maybe the coolest name in baseball) - meanwhile Bradley is more expensive and had an OPS of .497 last year. Brewers must be overjoyed right now.

If the lockout continues into June will there still be a draft since the players selected won't become PA members?

If the answer is yes does that mean signing a QO player after the lockout ends after the draft(if it went that long) you wouldn't lose a pick?

MLB is really petty. Took all articles and news stories down of current players.

All visible stories, links and videos are related to former players and the Hall

I know it’ll be a while till there’s anymore action but what are your thoughts on Zack Greinke?

Dudes a future hall of famer, he still pitched at a pretty high level last year before he contracted COVID and had to miss some time, and he won’t cost too much for too long. If late 30s Grienke is the 5th starter that’d be pretty good, no?

This actually may be mandatory. I know that no one can now give any interviews for instance. I think it's just about completely locking them out - given that technically media is part of their job.

Good find though - that's a hilarious repercussion :laugh:

Appears it is;

Taylor locking in with the Dodgers isnt surprising. He has commitment to that team and it had nothing to do with any team not matching that offer including the Jays.

I honestly believe the Jays matched or had a higher offer but he ultimately stayed with the organization he knows and feels comfortable with.

The Jays will still be in on Bryant and I would not be surprised if they are in on Story as well. We will wait until after this lockout is done. But I am sure they have more moves up their sleeves.
