There seems to be a longer clock/period between batters (I thought I saw 30 seconds on the board at one point but I don't know if that was the whole clock or if it counted down a bit before I saw it) so they can probably do a little bit of time to toss the ball around and get it back to the pitcher before he has to set up.

And if they want to they can always extend the period between batters. The biggest concern is everyone dicking around between pitches.

Me too. There's something relaxing about being able to sit back and do stuff with the game on in the background and know that I don't need to pay rapt attention to it 100% of the time for fear of missing something.

This doesn't feel like a hot take to anyone besides whoever manufactures spring training hats. I remember last year some bald guys were complaining about having weird sun burns on their head because of the hats :laugh:

Yeah, that was dumb, but I'm mostly talking about the aesthetic of them. I hate the look. It looks cheap.
