Would have did that for Heaney I think. Talk going around made it seem more expensive than that
Never. If he sucks, he makes more than Kikuchi. If he's good, you get a slight discount, but I believe there's an opt out

If the Jays could sign Correa (and I'm assuming Toronto could be in the mix for him) I'd be happy to trade Bichette for Reynolds.

I'm on the sign Correa bandwagon but not to trade Bo but to move him to 2B.

Get 2 starters and the decent players available in free agent may sign cheaper with you (Bellinger, Gallo, Brantley, Kiermaier, Conforto etc.)

They also fare well when teams are not able to play the shift due to MLB rule changes. Is not a putz that wont change because he has some misguided allegiance to players who don't win in the playoffs.

30K seats is just about enough to house all the Jay's fans that show up when they are in town with 27 extra seats for Tampa season ticket holders.
Nobody ever goes to St. Petersburg, it’s too crowded.

If they can still swing Jansen + for Nootbar that's looking good right about now.

Are the Jays going to add some lefty bats to the lineup at some point? Obviously not *the* biggest issue, but I think have a mix of lefty/righty bats would be nice instead of fielding 9 righties (or 8 and a guy like Tapia).

Are we going to have what always have happens to us? All the top pieces get taken and we are left with a terrible ass defense that gives up 50 runs so we can nab that 40 year old DH to play in a corner?

Hopefully as the big free agents are all signing and we miss out, we dont over react and pay big for a plan B. Still time for a pitcher in free agency, and trade options may be best bet from a team payroll perspective.. The guys worth overpaying are gone from the position players available.

I just know we are going to get blocked from adding a good defensive outfielder and then we will be wondering why our pitching isn't as good as it should be when we run a dogshit outfield.

Every winter people complain the team isn’t going to do anything.
And the last 3 years in a row the Jays have brought in a big FA signing.

Relax baseball isn’t hockey. Free agency really takes its time.

Our solution to the outfield is in trades not FA, outside of Bellinger you aren't grabbing a plus glove in FA.

And for the record, I wouldn't consider myself a reactionary fan lol. I know how the process works.
