Good stayed CISED.

Whatever the units... Trouba needs to be taken off of PP2. I don't think it would be long until Panarin has his buddy on PP1.
So by that logic he was cised to play with Strome/Fast and Strome/Blackwell. I mean he probably was. I was cised watching it. But man there was a lot of complaining around here while our Hart candidate was cised.

Can you tell me how many rings we have in the last 75 years ?

Can you tell me how many finals you’ve seen us. In ?

I’ve seen 3 …one cup

Smith dealt two HOF players ( imo ) for the Cup.

Get it done Drury - whatever it takes - we need an advantage over Cooper for once in our pathetic lives .

Satire my ass - tell me where you disagree .
Everywhere. You need more luck to win than people are comfortable admitting. Betting huge on one year is so insanely risky because of that itd be legitimately negligent

Mikkola is a 1.9 M cap hit, a little surprised by that. St.Louis covering 50% of Tarasenko is good but at 1.9 M I hope Mikkola is a definite upgrade.

He’ll be back. Go to AHL for a month to work on things after the cup of coffee. He has NHL toughness and we will need it. Goodrow is a good guy to learn from on the 4th line
I don't think so. I think they go with something like Gauthier-Goodrow-deadline add. I just don't think Gallant will trust a guy in the playoffs who has a only played a handful of NHL games. I think he makes the team next year though.

Because we barely beat Calgary &
Vancouver just this week .

And because our coach isn’t exactly Al Arbor .

after monday's game you're complaining? really? that was one for the ages...
didn't impress you huh? Calgary is a good team. what would have like to have seen happen?

and throw away game against pitiful vancouver?

every season is different, and all the youth has that experience under them. there's no perfect season and no
guarantees.

They are playing well, the kids are clicking, they sign a goal scorer, win a huge game with our captain
decimating people...

you come on here crying like you're the only ranger fan that wants a Stanley cup?

Drury has some more moves planed. I trust him. He's played in the NHL.... and he owns a pizzeria.

move over Chytil and Zibs... best shot on the team now

Maybe I'm being too optimistic... I'm expecting 2019 Tank.... maybe to bring 2019 Panarin with him

He's got great speed. Plays uptempo. He'll probably mesh better with Zib if Panarin still doesn't get a boost and start moving his feet with this trade.

The PP was maybe 1% of the consideration of this trade. We have an elite PP1 that is gonna be ridden like Seabiscuit in the playoffs.
In what way is PP1 elite? We are ranked what 17th?

That is avg. actually technically below avg

Last year we were elite. Sadly removing strome with trocheck has made this a much worse PP.

It is no longer elite.

It has been stale and predictable for a while now.

Perfect time for a change now that we made a trade.

I’m curious why people think Mikkola is going to be a difficult re-sign. His point totals are very low. His underlying stats are okay, not great. He’s 26. If he fits well, why wouldn’t the take a 2-year deal on a contender to play good minutes in NY? Based on what I’m seeing, $1.3-1.5m would be his market. What am I missing?

I've read not so great things about Mikkola. Can't make a pass to save his life is one. Offensive black hole is another

So many scouting opinions on Tarasenko and often he is referred to as a bruising power forward.

I just watched as much as I could on him and im not seeing that. Not dissapointed in what i watched just not seeing power forward. His highlights reel from last season is really good. Lots of goals off the rush. Real pretty sniped from both side of the ice. Quick decisions with the puck. In that whole reel there is only like 3 or 4 greasy goals.

On Dec. 29, 2022 former KHL assistant coach Mitch Giguere said the PP the Canadiens should emulate is the Rangers and he specifically mentioned the way Trocheck plays on it.

On Feb 9, 2023 there are people wishing we could go back to having Strome instead of Trocheck on the PP and people saying having Trocheck and Kreider on the same PP is redundant.

Hard to believe losing Strome has possibly made this PP worse, and I'm not even one of those fans that hated Strome.

Hopefully, Tarasenko helps boost up this PP, it has the talent to be a lot better.

100% Nathan Lafayette hitting the post - case in point.

All I’m saying is - load up.

And I love getting Tarasenko.
