Playoff hockey is pretty simple, you drive the puck to the net. Guys like Pacioretty, Eller and Bourque need to drive the net with the puck

They way it seems:

- we don't have an answer for how to attack them
- they look like they have every answer for how to attack AND defend us

It's one thing to have a bad period, it's another when you can see the other team is better prepared strategically.

Eller has looked the most dangerous so far. Only one who can hold onto the puck.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME CHERRY>? RANGERS NOW???

The good thing is we weathered the storm and we're only down by 2. We can still come back and win...

The habs look like a bunch of slug ... slugging around the ice. Brutal to watch. I hope they get back some energy.

We are on the PK dude. You want another goal scored against us ?

You understand that his weak ass shot gave them a clear breakout?

If he had crashed the net instead of staying in the corner he keeps the puck close and probly a whistle in the zone. instead of a shot that bounce off of lunqvist and goes right at a rangers stick ready for the breakout ..

Habs not showing a lot of emotion in their game. They're not skating. They're not playing physical. Flat doesn't begin to describe their play.

Twenty minutes in and some are jumping in life boats. Holy...

Canadiens are coming off an epic series win; Rangers beating
Pitt does not compare, emotionally.

Would have actually been better to start on the road than at home
after the win over the Bruins.

Way too soon to panic

But one thing is sure is that the Habs will have to clear the front of the net better. On both goals St-Louis and Zuccarello weren't even bothered

He bounces around 'cause he's not a top 6 player. And you forget about the teams before because sometimes, players are better when a little older. He was 29 with us. The guy was seen as a key component for us. So he should have been send away just because of the past years? He was asking for 1.2 for 2 years, Habs didn't want to give him that. Pretty simple. But not a good decision. Unless the idea is that he's a **** disturber and terrible teamate....but unless we know about that...

Dude, you're not going to win this argument. There is a CLEAR pattern of him flipflopping through teams. It has nothing to do with him getting better or not (btw, his career year was before us, with the Leafs), it has to do with him constantly moving around. It's not something you can just toss it aside.
