Kid hasn’t proven he can be an NHL player yet is entitled enough to refuse a minor league demotion to prove he can be an AHL player. Bold strategy, Cotton. Let’s see if it pays off.

Wouldn’t fit in the isles locker room or culture. No room for those types of players.

Imagine Kravtsov walking into Lou’s office and demanding top line minutes + PP1 time and then telling Lou that he refuses to ever play in the AHL.

That would go really well for the young man I’m sure.

Maybe Kravtsov and Ho Sang can hug it out in Toronto, or on the Marlies. Who cares. Lol.

Also, everyone trying to dunk on @EdJovanovski should shut the f*** up.

It’s plain rude to try to do this to someone when their favorite player is traded or about to be traded. There’s banter and there’s being a douchebag. Trying to tag him or mention him to try to dunk on him now is the latter.
Is this how you felt when Buchnevich was traded?

Yes lets talk about what our franchises were doing in the 1920s that seems extremely relevant to the conversation.

But since were on the topic of talking about the past. You do realize that if the Leafs don't win the cup this year they will have the longest Stanley Cup draught in the history of the league? Talk about pressure!! And we know you guys don't like pressure!!!!! I won't mention the fact that you haven't won a playoff series in more than 15 years either
The bra gets another one. I am a fan of the team your buddies had to bandwagon in the 80's. Right in the neighborhood, and finally back from the ashes.

I understand he played pro for a few years in the KHL but he has 4 points in 20 nhl games. He has to earn it. Personally I would have had him on the team but if Gallant doesn’t think he’s ready who is he to argue?

Did this kid ever think this could be for one game? That this first game may not be good for his finesse tail?

Does his agent use his voice?

What even does "permission to seek a trade" mean? are they letting his agent negotiate the terms of the trade? Because I'm sure if the Rangers wanted to trade him they could find suitors fairly quickly.

I think we're seeking an understanding between him and a potential suitor vis a vis his role, in order to maximize value. He's done this before and he's liable to mope somewhere else.
