Not sure if you’re joking or not, but for my part... I really really liked Pionk. I’m hoping he does well in Winnipeg.

That being said, there was too much redundancy in the future of our RD and of the 3 (him, TDA, Fox) I preferred keeping TDA and we just acquired Fox.

#11 is a lot to give up for a guy you can't talk to beforehand. I get that it's only 9 spots higher but the Flyers are trying to make noise next year while the Rangers have lower expectations. Harder for the Flyers to recoup that pick as a rental than the Rangers.

Unless the Rangers come through here and give him an offer he can't refuse, which could get expensive. But regardless, you would assume they can at least re-coup about the same value for him as a rental next Feb
