If the NHL had some kind of relegation system, we'd be super upset that Detroit and Buffalo are playing each other.

I still say I'm not gonna watch a Rangers game and root for them for lose, so I'll mostly just watch the Yankees.

great stealth tanking from like 3 guys there. if I didn't know the truth, I'd think they were incompetent, but *points to nose*

Hey there's Pionk.

Jared McCann the latest absolute scrub to become a PPG player on the Penguins. That's why we're doing this. When you have multiple franchise players, the rest of the roster doesn't matter.

Has Pionk ever broken up a 2 on 1 ever? He’s horrible play him 25 tonight and this loss is in the bag

Every time I see Vesey, I can't help, but mutter: "he's garbage".

That was a really good shift by Howden to win that puck back and find that seam to hit Lindgren

I’m not radically pro-tank or anti-tank one way or the other, but PLEASE Rangers, lose this game.

We’re already on the right track with DeAngelo’s “injury” and losing 1-0, but we gotta keep it going.

Unfortunately the system just isn't constructed for it to be implemented here, but I think non-playoff teams competing for the top pick would be cool.

Agreed. But picks that are traded to other teams make that a bit of a flawed system. My ideal scenario would be:

1-4
5-8
9-12
13-15

4 round robin competitions to determine which team gets which pick. If a team owns 2 picks (Colorado), they get to chose which one they play for and the other pick automatically will be the last in that group of 4 picks played for.

The only downside is that players probably don't want to play more games and would consider this meaningless.
