My favorite Pens-Rangers over-generalization/nostalgia is when we had teams with pretty good firepower but they just had a bit more every time and we'd end up playing those 7-5, 6-4 losses at the Igloo.

I usually have that feeling at the end of every season but this year, I've been counting down the days until it ends. I'm burnt out of hoping the team loses for a better draft pick, watching a terrible team that was expected to be terrible, and watching arguably the best player in franchise history see age kick in. There's obviously been some bright spots but watching a really bad team is just draining. I have no idea how fans of Buffalo and Edmonton do this every year.

Was listening to NHL radio yesterday and they were complaining about Edmonton and Buffalo winning the lottery again and then started listing teams they think deserve it like Detroit, LA, Anaheim. I was screaming at my radio that the Rangers deserve it the most but they totally forgot about us at all. Until after the commercial break one of the hosts said he’d been informed that the rangers have never drafted top 3 EVER, they didn’t believe it at first but then confirmed and said yeah, the Rangers deserve it for sure. But then one asshole said that we didn’t deserve it because the Knicks rigged the 1985 NBA draft lottery so that used up all the MSG fortune forever . Almost drove off the Bear Mountain Bridge.

As the cherry-on-top to 40 years of mostly disappointing outcomes, I expect a Rangers win tonight to ensure less ping pong balls than our talent deserves.

Please please just let things finish right tonight and continue Tuesday with the ping pongs. This includes a Nashville and St. Louis win and Winnipeg loss but would settle for just a Nashville win.
Rangers don’t go into the third tied or winning ok

There has to be some unknown elite center Milking Yaks in some remote Bulgarian village. Get our international staff on it and comb it!

And the Knicks haven't gotten anything since. So much for 'the league wants to help the Rangers/Knicks big market teams'. Where is the evidence when it comes to the lottery?

That is the Lemieux/DeAngelo factor right there....I don't care what anybody says ....unless of course he does play...and I think he will and both those guys hopefully are at him every darn shift and drive him bonkers and give him a taste of what to expect next season and the next and the next....LOL....
