It's funny because he has a lot less 'greens' than Benak and he will probably go ahead of him due to his wingspan.lol.

Anyone who has seen these two kids will not be surprised that Benak is "much greener". They are levels apart, in every aspect of the game.

However, unfortunately imo, too much importance is given to size

It’s not just about size. I don’t think Benak has the talent and ability to make up for his lack of size and overall poise. Is he technically a better player than Vaclav? Sure. Are you willing to bet that Benak is more likely to have success in the NHL than Vaclav? I’m not so sure.

Vaclav Nestrasil is raw. But, his overall size and skillset would lead you to believe that he could find a role at the NHL level. He has improved a ton since early in the year and looks like he could be a player that fits in your top 9.

Size is a factor with these players, but there are more important things that are associated with size. Cam Schmidt is 5’7” but he has the overall talent and athleticism to become a great player despite his size. Benak is a great playmaker, but when I watch him, I see a good European hockey player. Not an NHLer.
