Up and down game, take the two points and the positives

I was about to say the same thing. I was pretty confused there for a second.
49 years if you start at Kansas City

Honestly, I don't see how you can go wrong playing Schmid against Vegas

How could you after he had a shutout (a fairly easy one, against a terrible team, whatever) in his last start and closed this one out by stopping all 12 shots with a one goal lead?

You almost can't not start him after this.

God forbid our 21-year old franchise C on pace for 103 points doesn't score a point in a game once. Come on, it happens.

He was still moving out there. We're talking like he doesn't do crap, he was buzzing against LA and against Philly not even 3 games ago.

He's not that good anyway! We went over 500 without him a couple weeks ago!:sarcasm:

I thought Bratt did some really good things on the defensive side of the puck in this one. Seemed like he really keyed in on breaking up MacKinnon once the game got close. Couple times his back pressure disrupted him and even on one of the final shifts it looked like he was almost shadowing him in the DZ. Had some jump offensively too - thought he was the only guy really going at all on that line.
The jump in his defensive game over the last three months has gone under the radar.

I said it in his rookie year but he is very Elias like in a lot of ways. Just get the kid signed already.

This was a tough game, but they buckled down when they needed to. We were all worried about letting the Avalanche back in it, but despite their surges, we never surrendered the lead or even let them tie it.

I think I'll take that over a game with multiple lead changes and even wilder swings in momentum.

Starting to enjoy Bahl Star. Pretty good all around game for him. Boqvist too.

Bahl is getting better by gaining more confidence. The kid will one day be in our top 4. And happy to see Boqvist have a good game. I’ve noticed our guys are starting to play harder on the puck and winning board battles. I really like seeing the guys play more physical.
