Based on that game, Meier should go in for Sharangovich and the other lines should stay put. He was abysmal.
And yet some people doubt this team even has a chance at the Cup.On pace for 115-116 pts, which would be the greatest regular season on franchise history
I was about to say the same thing. I was pretty confused there for a second.Umm. We haven't been in the league 60 years
To be honest, they should still send him down to let him play and see if Blackwood can continue his recent play where he’s at least been average.I know this isn't the game to beat up on Blackwood and it's not about him, but they need to roll with Schmid from here on out.
I don't necessarily mean as the starter, but I mean on the roster.
Keep all 3 up if you have to. I don't think there's a roster limit after the deadline, right?

Maybe some leap years or they use a lunar calendar?Umm. We haven't been in the league 60 years
Even with Kansas City and Colorado the makes no sense.Umm. We haven't been in the league 60 years
He’s been struggling for awhile now. Get him a break and then put him back in for the next person struggling in the future.Based on that game, Meier should go in for Sharangovich and the other lines should stay put. He was abysmal.
need 27 points out of the last 22 games to break the franchise record for points.
40-15-5 is our record as of today, which is March 1st.Even with Kansas City and Colorado the makes no sense.
Vanecek STUNK tonight, no doubt.
But Blackwood has absolutely no future here and Schmid has shown this year that he does.
Maybe he becomes a dud in a couple more years, just like Blackwood has?
But this isn't about Blackwood anymore, it's about not sending back a goalie that's clearly no worse than the second best goalie in the organization (Blackwood is the third) and has potential to be the best goalie in the organization.

It’s better to have Schmid playing games in the A than a weird three goalie rotation where both Schmid and Blackwood don’t get enough games.
But there should be a serious case that if anything were to happen to VV. Schmid should be next man up. Maybe even be the backup come playoff time, especially after this showing.
Oh. It was worded kinda weird40-15-5 is our record as of today, which is March 1st.
The Meter never lies!
Fair enoughHe's stunk for a few games now, which is getting concerning.
I'm very happy with Schmid and don't want to see him go anywhere, plus we have no clue how close Blackwood is to returning so it's a moot point right now. Just surprising how quickly the conversation goes to Blackwood after this game for seemingly no reason.
