NHL promoting McDavid by putting a bunch of Oilers games on NHL Network which pretty much no one has, thus blacking them out on ESPN+. Brilliant.

The NHL Network seems to be standard fare on U.S. cable providers -- you get it whether you want it or not along with 500 other channels, just as with the NFL Network, the Golf Channel, the Cooking Channel, the Weather Channel, and Telemundo, etc. & etc.
