That many? Zoinks! Also: zone time.

2) How does he explain their slow starts?

I got nuthin. Also: I liked their compete. Then again, I didn't really watch the 1st period. Or the 3rd. And the 2nd not so much. Someone hands you an iPad, you gonna watch this trash or play CandyCrush with the moms?

3) How did he like the fight from his team in the 3rd?

You mean the fight they showed as they managed 2 shots, barely left the perimeter, sustained minimal possession, couldn't skate, hit or complete a pass and broke their mothers' hearts?

4) Did he like what he saw from his power play?

Could any sane person have liked that PP? They didn't give up as many easy shorties as they theoretically could have. Also, Blake Wheeler: what a competitor!

Losing has become acceptable.

Its always been acceptable with jets 2.0.

9 seasons 3 playoff appearances. About to go 3 for 10 and no urgency at all.

Ehlers, Laine, Roslovic not doing enough. They started the year strong, but if they can't stay the course of the season, maybe we need to flip one for someone who can. A defenseman or a young center if you can find one. I would keep Laine of the 3, but he needs to work on his stick handling in the off season. He can't keep the puck on his stick.

Lowry (when healthy) needs to be more of an offensive threat if playing on the third line.

Perrault, Kulikov need to go. Too many dumb penalties and inconsistent play for what they make.

That defense needs help. Byfuglien really left the team out to hang. Pionk, Morrissey can't do it all.

Hellebuyck playing too much. The past few games aren't on him, but he's playing tired and not himself.

If Chevy was counting on Buff to lead our defence, then he was truly stupid. Buff didn’t have a lot left in the tank. He missed half of last year with injuries. He’s on a steep decline at 34 years old. Any contribution from Buff this year would have just been a bonus for us. He’s a shadow of his former self. I doubt he ever returns. If he does, it will be just to collect his money.

Win or lose he should be gone. I actually think he would welcome that because IMO he wants/needs a change.

The loss was expected. No surprise there.

However just 3 shots on net in the 3rd period and getting outshot 16-3 in that period when down by only 2 goals in a game that was theoretically still winnable is embarrassing. That is not down to talent or the D, even for a shit team just the wind of score effects behind their back pushes them to a better showing in that situation. Ottawa playing against Vegas in similar situation in the 3rd just a couple nights ago put a much better effort.

Other than the 2nd line, no one looked good.
