Sudbury owner in the crowd today amongst a large group of their fans. Imagine that kind of interaction with the people who buy the tickets. People from North Bay here in section 2 recognize him but don’t even know who our owner is.
A hometown guy who cares about his team and community while our guy sits in his luxury box that the City doesn’t ever collect revenue from.
....last year he stood beside us up there....end of a sudbury loss I told him it was nice to see an owner out with the fans.....have not seen ours yet out of the bunker is what I told him......good for Zulich!

How did he do tonight hero? He’s a bust
Have you watched him play, or just calling him a bust for no reason at all? He had 5 points in 4 AHL games. 11 points in 6 games in the OHL. He hasn't been completely dominant, but very good, with elite hockey IQ and is averaging 2 PPG...

It would suck for me because I like a team in NB, but another team in the east would be good for the division and Hamilton. Maybe Cornwall can get another crack at a franchise and be the next location for the battalion
Taking the kids to a Battalion game is discretionary spending. With the cost of everything going up, I don't blame families that have to go to games only as an occasional treat. We know the team is good and would like to go more often but the budget isn't as flexible as it used to be. A little more in the way of promotions would be helpful but the gossip I've heard is that Griffin kiboshes nearly everything.

All I’ve been hearing as well

Arny was on the ice last week (Wed., maybe) in sweatshirt and track pants just doing very light skating and shooting - looks like it will be a while yet.

Looks like no bus legs for the Spits for Thursdays tilt in the Bay.
Flying here for games in NB, Sudbury & Soo this weekend. Wow!

So, how far is it from the airport, to the gardens ? If they have to carry their sticks & equipment bags, they might think bus legs aren't all that bad. LOL

It appears the team’s goal scoring has again become quite top heavy after a period where there were contributions from throughout the lineup. Here are some interesting, and disappointing, no goal/low goal production numbers from the past month or so:

Josh Bloom – 0G in last 10GP; Justin Ertel – 3 in 12; Dalyn Wakely - 0 in 6; Pasquale Zito – 1 in 8; Anthony Romani – 2 in 11; Liam Arnsby- 1 in 12; Owen van Steensel – 0 in 10.

Fortunately the top guns have continued to shine, but it would be nice if they could have some occasional help. Not all the listed players are offensive stars, but I think most could be a bit better.

Look at the assist as well

Breaking News: Stan Butler named HC of Erie Otters.

Maybe now the STH can get some bonuses, since we won’t be paying him anymore. Lol
Erie is here February 16, circle that date. Big tribute on the jumbo screen….

feel bad for Erie, wish the good young prospects there luck because they will need it
Kinda like (Outwater, Sima, Podolioukh), VanSteensel, Romani, Procyszyn can’t get prime development TOI?

1/27 WSR @ SBY - only singles and standing available.
1/26 WSR @ NB - 1700 out of 4250 (approx) available. Guess there will be a heckuva walk up in the next hour or so.
