#16 here
Button also had him in the first in his mid season list.
Not sure I would use the puck authority as a reputable source. Their website almost looks inactive. I will grant you button has credibility, however he does seem to overrate NA prospects in his early projections.

Thoughts on Adam Fantilli's play at the WJC.

Not his style of play. I think he likes to rag the puck and play a strong puck possession game. I don’t see Canada playing keep away.

I don’t think he has a complimentary player to play with that matches his style.

Just heard on the NHL Radio Network that teams in the running for Wright are Peterboro, Barrie & North Bay.
Adam Dennis must be talking to Kingston regarding his rights. Maybe with the off change that Fantilli doesn't want to come here. Who knows ?

You guys are all concerned about where he goes.
The kid is not going to be a game changer, sorry.
He did absolutely nothing in the Jr’s. Sorry guys but if NorthBay puts it all together and the kids buy in them this is the team to beat.
A point a game in the world jrs is “absolutely nothing”???

Just say you didn’t watch the games.

His whole line looked out of place at times. But they won the gold medal and he played great defence. Made great passes and heads up plays. He will be solid.

You sound like you just hate a kid who just recently turned 19.

Just saw all of your replies. You’re definitely a wright hater and you never have anything nice to say.

Not at all sorry, I’m just realistic. Kids good but not a game changer. Maybe you should watch some people in the business talk about him.

He isn’t bedard or McDavid for sure but shit this is junior he is absolutely a game changer in junior lol and that’s what this thread is right? An ohl thread?

I think the best, or one of the best in the ohl would have to be a game changer in the ohl, no?

I cannot read lips, so watching people talk would do me no good.
Of the ~450 OHL players, how many have spent the past half year playing WJC, AHL, NHL; two, ~0.44%.

Wonder if Fantilli is a NO for North Bay but a maybe for the OHL?

Makes zero sense for Fantilli to play OHL. He won’t go #1 at the draft regardless. If he stays in the NCAA, he is eligible for the AHL next season which gives him the option of AHL vs NCAA if he doesn’t make the NHL team.

And our hands are tied because of all the conditionals attached to our deal to get his rights. I loved it at the time but now we’re handcuffed.
After what has transpired today and assuming Wright goes to Barrie we may be sitting as fourth “seed” in the East. Hopefully they can get their “struggles” ironed out by then.
