We need a 2C, but wouldn't have any interest in RNH. Nothing else on your roster besides 29 & 97 would intrigue us. Decent Goalies show up on the scene all the time, so I'm sure you guys will find one without having to give up big assets.

Rangers could wind up seriously breaking out in the playoffs too, wouldn’t surprise me when you see teams like Montreal make a cup push. Starting to remind me of the Kings that weren’t great regular season but turned into wagons in the playoffs. But I’m really not expecting to beat the caps and canes in a series yet.

Only one mistake I saw, the blind reverse pass when he carried the puck into the Edmonton defensive corner. Gave Edmonton a nice rush going the other way. But otherwise he is an amazing revelation. I want him signed long term (I know it won’t happen).

Roy was pissed and demanded out. Not the same situation as here.

I mean, I still think I say no to this, but like, Holloway, Broberg, Puljujarvi and two firsts? Might be getting closer.

He played good as the game went on but not sure which game you were watching . K'Andre Miller was the one shutting McD down and laer on DRAIS too

If we traded you Georgie you are almost guaranteed a cup. We need a 2c and maybe a RW. We are good on defense for a long time.

Yeah we ain’t getting rid of a Vezina goalie in his first full season that’s been a superstar since the Rangers drafted him. Not happening. Would not shock me if the Oilers do trade for Georgiev who plays better when he plays often. Especially after today I’d put 500 on the line he winds up an Oiler. Not a star goalie but a goalie who is capable of starting 50 games.

Didn't Roy basically tell the entire Canadiens management trade me or else after being embarrassed by the Red Wings?
From all accounts it seems Shesterkin is pretty happy here playing for the Rangers.
No one has McDavid's talent but for us Shesterkin is our McDavid. He can hopefully be the difference in a 7 game playoff series.

That's very true about wanting out for Roy. But thank you entertaining the idea for the moment.
Yeah, getting that Package would set your depth for long time. Even I have to hesitate giving all three of them up. But goalies shesterkin don't grow on trees.

I mean, Shesterkin is not McDavid, that trade (or Draisaitl) is lopsided in our favor, but the problem is there isn't any other workaround because Shesterkin is an elite young goalie on a decent contract and I'd want an elite package back, therefore. Edmonton has two elite pieces they aren't moving, and nothing else elite to give us. They don't have elite picks, they dont have elite prospects, and they have no other elite players to swap up, of which, I'd only settle for some sort of young elite or future elite center, if they happened to have a third of those in their pipeline somewhere.

You aren't getting Shesterkin for like RNH and late first rounders or anything.

Goalies like Shesterkin don't grow on trees and that is why your not getting Shesty for any price.

Per game and post game thread:

Georgiev stinks, too many rebounds, got lucky and is sloppy.... even though he allowed 1 goal to the Oilers with the best offensive duo in the league. He is sloppy that I will agree but was good tonight especially on the first shot.
Nils should stay in the AHL even though he's improved immeasurably and didn't play tonight.
Kaako is invisible
Chytil is invisible, sucks, soft, stupid, no hockey sense, ahl player........Ok some of this is true.
Hunt Sucks.
Pull up some of Kocur26 posts for the hot takes.

I have had enough......this was a good game no time to even make fun of negativity.

Playoffs will be a totally different animal but I’m enjoying the ride. Let’s just all agree to not get too down on them if things go a little pear-shaped in the playoffs. These guys are getting better.
 
I loved tonight's game. The team played damn well in all phases. It was as complete a game as I have seen in a long while. With the exception of a few minutes in the 2nd and maybe a few of the waning minutes, I thought they were in complete control. I take this game any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
