Well this isn't the result I wanted. Who do I see about this?
Taylor Swift and her boyfriend!

Its not on the coach when receivers aren’t catching passes they should be. The play calls haven’t been tge issue. Execution has been
It all started with a dumb decision to go for it on 4th instead of taking the points which changed momentum. Then D shit the bed badly and problems started compounding. 2 drops on the same drive is not equal to 27 points. It's on the coach, period. They just ran the f***ing ball in a situation you just can't even consider that and wasted a timeout. Coaching choked and blew it big time.

Nah sorry. You can’t blame coaching for dropped passes, bad thrown balls, poor handoff leading to a fumble.

The call to go for it on 4th. Sure lay that on the coach. The other 21 points, nah

The lack of discipline in critical games by some athletes at the highest levels amazes me. I could see slip ups by college kids, but pros?

as invincible as they seem they're still just humans. immense pressure that most of the general public would never feel, millions of eyes on them trying to do their job. emotions run very high too.
Flowers with the completely unnecessary taunting, then he gets cocky diving in for what he thought was an easy TD but didn't protect the ball even 1% and fumbles, then he hurt/cut his hand punching the bench in frustration. Honestly that was 3 strikes, you're out, on the bench for the rest of the game. Emotions are running high, but 3 braindead dumbass moves like that are inexcusable...you can try again next year when you've grown up a bit

So it’s the Chiefs, with Taylor Swift, vs. San Fran in the Super Bowl with Usher as the half time performer.

They'd already blown a 17 point lead before the decision to go for it on 4th instead of trying to tie the game on the field goal. How did that "swing" the momentum? Unless there was an earlier 4th down try they failed on as well?

Yes there was an earlier one. First drive of the 2nd half the 49ers scored a FG to make it a 14 point game. Lions drove from their own 25 to the SF 28 and went for it on 4th and 2 instead of kicking the FG to make it a 3 score game again. They didn't get it, SF drove down for a TD and then the next play the Lions fumbled it and SF tied the game with another TD minutes later.

There were some drops and yes the RB shouldn't have fumbled of course but that momentum swing was on a stupid coaching decision. I'm all for being aggressive but there's a time and place for it and that very much was not the time and place. Take the damn points.

The math suggests getting a TD in either situation raises your chances of winning a heck of a lot more than a FG. Especially when you have so many plays to get you a short yardage 1st down and you have a decent defense.

Sure if the coach knew they were going to implode the rest of the way then he may consider a FG in the situation to get points. But you have dominated the opponent so far offensively, defense is doing well, you have short yardage, and would be turning the ball over on the right side of the 30 if you didn’t convert. You should go for that 1st down every time. Going up 21 points would have put there winning chances over 90%. A fg there only increases 5-8 points.
